Maisie Returns

Maisie Trollette, one of the scene's best known and loved cabaret artists returned to the UK this month and gave her first show here at Central Station - and boy she went down a treat!  We look forward to having Maisie back again on 23rd August 2008.

LGBT History Month

February is LGBT History Month - a chance to reminisce about the good and bad times in gay history, remember those who fought for the rights we have today and to celebrate the positive future we can look forward to.  Central Station will be hosting a number of different events. See here for details: www.centralstation.co.uk/historymonth

Sweet 16

Sixteen years ago, Martin and Duncan took over a derelict building and transformed it into Central Station as we know it today.  Every year we celebrate another year of diversity, entertainment and fun which Central Station has stood for in its 16 year existence.

The party takes place on 9th February with Topping & Butch giving a special show in honour of our proud day.  The London LGBT Switchboard will be in also raising money for their cause, so come on down and join in the fun!

Trashville's Farewell Show

Saturday 19th January saw Trashville Tennessee taking to the stage at Central Station for the very last time.  Whilst we were sad to see the duo perform their last show, we hardly had time to think about it for the jokes and paraody songs were flowing on the specially adapted US-style stage.  Trashville - you will be missed!

Lizzy Drip did us Proud

Central Station was the place to be on New Year's Eve. There was a buffet spread with enough food to feed the 5000! Lizzy Drip gave an amazing show and then came back just before midnight to count us down and the whole building errupted into a frenzy of cheers, dancing, kissing and well-wishing when the clock struck 12! The champagne flowed and the fun continued until 5am when a splattering of positive comments from party revellers, DJ Dizzy P, Lizzy Drip and even the staff proving that when it comes to parties, Central Station knows how.

Our next big do will be in February for our 16th Birthday Bash!

England are just a few crucial goals away from being top of the group for the Euro Cup 2008. Join in the atmosphere in the Cabaret bar where we are showing every one of England's matches on our big screen.

The next match is England vs Croatia on Wednesday 21st November.  Kick-off at 7.45pm.  Good Luck England!

Ooh-la-la L'Eurostar!

The 14th November saw the arrival of Eurostar to St Pancras International and Central Station celebrated in true continental style.  The Cabaret Bar was full of travellers and party-goers alike, testing this month's guest beer - Hoegaarden, a French Burgandy, Champagne and a spread that would have impressed King Louis of France! Rounding the evening off with utter style and grace, Susan Black sang as Edith Piaz. Kelly Wilde finished the spectacular with a few upbeat songs that got us all in the mood for dancing the rest of the night away!

Stripper Goes Down

Starting in August, Thursday night’s top stripper action was moved to The Underground, and what a success this has been so far!  The strippers love the intimate space, and like-wise comments from the crowd suggest the cruisy, darker space is a perfect backdrop for the naughtiness that follows.

Entrance is now FREE to the cabaret bar all night long on Thursdays.

The Magic Five

Friday 5th October sees Central Station open an extra hour on Friday and Saturday nights – til 5am!  With an alcohol license, music and dancing license extended til 5am, we give you the license to have more fun than ever before.

DJ Ray Plays Big

New to Fridays, DJ Ray Reynolds takes to the decks every Friday evening in the cabaret bar from 10pm.  DJ Ray will be playing golden oldies and classic disco videos on the big screen to get you in the weekend party mood.

The fun continues when at 11pm, DJ Ray hosts the night’s top cabaret show.  With the likes of Sandra, Topping & Butch, Lizzy Drip and many more, there will never be a dull moment at Central Station!

DJ Chris Reardon Remixes Saturday Nights

Tired of going to the same old clubs?  Try this one out – DJ Chris Reardon will be taking over The Underground on Saturday nights.  With music that will have you glued to the dancefloor all night long, and sensational lights and lasers to match, you best come with your comfy dancing shoes on!  For those feeling frisky, the dark alcoves are a happy retreat, whilst the cabaret bar provides a more chilled-out atmosphere.

DJ Chris Reardon’s new night, Remix, starts on Saturday 6th October.  Don’t forget: we will be open til 5am!

Kelly and The Kelly Girls

They’ve performed at numerous venues throughout London and Europe and Tuesday 9th October sees them come to Bar Wotever at Central Station.  This band is already huge – and growing by the minute – and we’re giving you the chance to see them for FREE.  All you have to do is turn up to Bar Wotever on Tuesday 9th October and enjoy the show.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity, their next gig could be a sell-out at Wembley!
